CORVETTES LIMITED CLUB HELPING CHARITIES

2013
CORVETTES LIMITED HAS VOTED TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING TWO CHARITIES:
THE ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF ARCADIA
All funds raised by this chapter go directly back into the comunity.
Provides school supplies to children. Hosts meetings for seniors and the visually impared at our charter house. Educates elementary school children with puppet shows. Gives newborn clothing and infant supplies to mothers in need. Supplies hospital waiting rooms with magazines. Supports their two auxilaries and their programs: Las Alas (for professional adults) and Assisteens (for high-school teens).

DECEMBER 03 2011 CORVETTES LIMITED DONATED A TREE WORTH $500.00 TO THE ELKS CLUB AND WAS WON BY KATHY STOCK AND RAY BOWMAN, TREE WAS ORGANIZED AND CHAIRED BY CORVETTES LIMITED MEMBER, LEE DRUM. THANKS TO ALL THE MEMBERS THAT DONATED GIFT CARDS TO MAKE THIS TREE POSSIBLE.

2009 - Every quarter of this year Our President, Sam Kaufman has made trips to the Food Bank with donated food from the members of Corvettes Limited. We know that many people are hurting from the present economy and we are happy to be a part of the solution.
2009 - APPROX. 831 LBS. OF FOOD TO THE L.A. REGIONAL FOOD BANK, AND UNION STATION HOMELESS IN PASADENA.

I would like to thank you and your members for doing a wonderful job decorating and sponsoring the "Corvette Tree" at the Christmas Tree Lane fundraiser. The time and effort you put into it really shows and I will enjoy all the gifts that were under the tree! I have attended the fundraiser for many years and this is my first time winning a tree. My mom (Toni Russell) is on the Elks Ladies Aux. and puts many hours into it and I know they appreciate your club and others who sponsor trees. Thank you again!

NOVEMBER 8, 2009 - ELKS CHILI COOKOFF. CHERYL VERDICCHIO AND POLLY & DAN PIRAINO WON $200 FOR SECOND PLACE FOR THEIR CHILI IN THE CHILI COOK OFF, AND IT WENT TO THE CHARITY OF THEIR CHOICE, OLIVE CREST.
MATT & KIM HINSON WON 3RD PLACE FOR THEIR CHILI AND WERE AWARDED $100 TO THE CHARITY OF THEIR CHOICE, ARCADIA ASSISTANCE LEAGUE.

DECEMBER 2008 - Donated a fully decorated tree with gifts under to Arcadia Elks Ladies Auxiliary for their Charity.

NOVEMBER 2008 was the month of chili cook offs and with those proceeds were able to present checks to Outward Bound Adventures of Los Angeles.
