Presenting Ronnie and Rosalinda Maye

Rosalinda and Ronnie joined our Club about a year and a half ago. They have not been able to devote a lot of time to attending very many events because they were looking to buy a home together and then getting settled down. Now they plan to be more active so they will get to know us. Recently, they went to the social dinner at Edward‟s Steak House. You will remember that was a very rainy night so consequently, very few of our members braved the drive. Rosalinda said they really enjoyed the evening because they were able to interact with everyone there.
They own a 1985 gold C4 coupe which is the first Vette they have owned since getting married. Ronnie owned quite a few different Corvettes before marrying Rosalinda, but sold his last Vette prior to moving from his home state of Tennessee to California to get married. Then he bought Rosalinda their C4 as she had always wanted a Vette. They of-ten go for a drive on Route 66 just for the love of it. Along the Route, they may stop at a favorite restaurant or try a new one. Another favorite place to take their Vette is to Bob‟s in Toluca Lake where they enjoy the car show and a Bob‟s Big Boy.
Rosalinda and Ronnie enjoy traveling by car. They often drive to Nashville to see rela-tives. Soon after Ronnie moved here, they took a 1300 mile trip so he could get intro-duced to California. They stopped in Napa, San Francisco, the redwoods area, and en-joyed our beautiful coast. They also enjoy going on cruises.
They own a parrot named Caesar. He is four years old and acts like a little kid. Caesar sings, dances, whistles, and of course, talks. He loves to say, “Good by, little buddies” when they leave or “Good night, little buddies” when they retire for the evening. He en-joys watching television and has favorite shows. “The Adams Family” is one of them.
Rosalinda and Ronnie don‟t really watch much T. V. They are mostly on the com-puter. Ronnie is retired and spends quite a bit of his time selling on eBay. He has a buddy in Tennessee who is an alcohol distributor so Ronnie sells related merchandise online. He sells items such as shot glasses, napkins, T-shirts, Tommy Bahama bar mats, etc. He has donated items to put under our Christmas tree at the Elks Club which must have made a hit with the winner.
We look forward to having Rosalinda and Ronnie join us for more meetings and activities in the near future. When you see them be sure to walk over and introduce yourself so you can get to know them in person.
